New Moon in Libra 2026: When the Heart Leads the Way with Mano Matthews
New Moon in Libra, October 10, 2026
The New Moon is today October 10, 2026. What's interesting is that we're in a one year, and 10 is also another number one without the zero. So you could almost say it's me, me, me because it is an alpha number! But what it's really saying is that this time around, the universe wants you to spend more quiet time alone with yourself. Meaning, spending more time with your heart than your brain. Because the brain always likes to complicate things! This will give the brain time to appreciate and respect the heart more, so they can both harmonize together. Because the heart just is!! It doesn't have to complicate everything. It simply knows.
I recently heard Dr. David Clements talking about the possibility of humanity evolving beyond our current 23 pairs of chromosomes. He spoke about a 24th chromosome and possibly even more, describing them as living light structures connected to the heart center. It's a fascinating spiritual perspective on how we may be evolving, whether we realize it or not. And I believe we'll all get there.
But by following the heart more than the brain, we can make our lives simpler and perhaps even less stressful.
And when we blend the heart with the brain, our creativity becomes all the more magical.
This will all help us move into the fourth and fifth dimensions, and so on, where, surprisingly, we may discover that we know far more than we ever imagined. Very few people throughout history have demonstrated such extraordinary abilities, like Leonardo da Vinci. He always thought outside of the box with his inventions and his art.
Right now, we're all going through a transitional period, and we may feel a little wobbly as we move from A to Z.
So the trick is to relax into it. Just surrender to yourself. Don't go looking somewhere else to find what is already within you.
And then you'll begin to feel a flow around you,
almost as if you're floating into the ocean.
This will become a new kind of normal,
with a new kind of ebb and flow.
We're moving away from all the structures, restrictions, and rigid ways of thinking that we've become so used to. What we once thought was safe and secure may now be breaking away.
So don't have too many expectations. Just flow into it.
The training wheels are coming off so we can learn to stand on our own two feet! And remember to release any victimhood you may be holding on to. The more you hold on to it, the more difficult you make things for yourself.
Victimhood and arguments can become a vicious cycle. There are no winners when ego takes over. It's a no-win situation and a waste of energy. You're just depleting and hurting each other.
Understanding one another and listening to our hearts will get us there much faster. Learn from all your experiences, because that's what helps you evolve and finally get off that hamster wheel. The lesson is: What have you learned about yourself?
You'll begin to have a clearer sense of your own gifts, and a greater appreciation for the gifts of all other living things. Because when you really think about it, we're all one and the same.
And one last thing about the date. When we add up all the numbers in 10/10/2026, we get a 3. In numerology, that can represent creativity, expression, and shining at our greatest potential.
Pretty much a lot will be happening now, with Venus in retrograde from October 3 to November 13. Venus will also be squaring Mars, bringing additional attention to how we relate to one another.
We'll also be feeling the influence of distant celestial bodies like Sedna, Salacia, and Makemake. What's interesting is the mythology behind them. Sedna is an Inuit sea goddess, Salacia is a Roman goddess associated with the sea, and Makemake is a creator and fertility god from Rapa Nui mythology. So we're looking at both feminine and masculine symbolism here. I believe these energies are helping us balance the feminine and masculine within ourselves, and that balance will also affect the world around us.
Feminine energy, to me, has always been more naturally connected to morality, honesty, integrity, and truth. For too long, masculine energy has dominated, and even feminine energy has sometimes been pulled into that imbalance just to survive. But that's changing. Feminine energy is coming forward more strongly now, helping us recognize what we've been participating in and giving us the courage to walk away from what no longer feels right. And as that balance shifts within ourselves, we'll begin to see secrets, lies, and corruption exposed, including corruption on a financial level. Because when we begin living with greater honesty and integrity, it changes how we treat one another and ultimately the world around us.
On a personal level, this may also wake us up to how we see our love lives and friendships, whether we want to have children, and how we choose to raise them. I believe we'll also see new discoveries in health and longevity, along with a greater awareness of what may be making us sick, including the foods we eat and the medicines we take.
We may go through some upheaval at first, but that's to be expected with change. So remember, try to stay within your heart. Because the heart allows us to understand through energy and feeling, even without words.
Never underestimate the power of female energy and all the wonderful things it can do.
