New Moon in Pisces (March 18 & 19, 2026)

with the Aries Equinox (March 20)

As we move through March, one of the pivotal months of 2026, the most intense period will likely be the week from March 16 through March 20.

Beginning on the 16th, an object known as 3I/ATLAS will be passing through Sagittarius in connection with Cancer energy. This alignment relates to harmony, the heart, strong emotions, and healing: physically, mentally, and emotionally. In many ways, it may help reconnect the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

This could feel revolutionary, but in a very positive way. It may allow us, perhaps for the first time in a long while, to see the world with greater clarity and precision. Concepts that once seemed complicated may begin to feel more understandable. In that sense, we are pioneers stepping into a new stage of awareness.

A Powerful Alignment of Days

The New Moon in Pisces occurs on March 18 & 19, followed immediately by the Aries Equinox on March 20, 2026. These few days together create a powerful bundle of energy that could influence the rest of the year and possibly beyond.

Although I am a professional psychic, I have always felt the movements of the planets deeply for most of my life. That is why I believe in their influence because I continually observe their effects. If I had a religion, that would probably be it.

Interestingly, many organized religions historically discouraged astrology, yet there are signs they respected it more than they admitted. One pope even had a marble bathtub carved with all the astrological symbols around its rim, something you can still see today in the Vatican Museum. So perhaps they knew more than they publicly said.

The Astrological New Year

The true astrological New Year begins on March 20 in Aries. At this time, many planetary cycles are shifting in ways that some astrologers believe have not occurred for thousands of years. Whether literal or symbolic, this perspective reminds us to remain humble. Even the most powerful people on Earth cannot control cosmic cycles.

Weather, Exposure, and Transformation

With Neptune squaring Saturn and Aries energy increasing, we may unfortunately continue to see challenging weather patterns, strong storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, and possibly notable earthquakes.

At the same time, this alignment may bring exposure of hidden truths, including revelations involving powerful individuals or institutions.

Yet there is also a brighter side.

New discoveries in medicine, especially connected to the oceans may emerge. Advances in health and healing may address conditions that once seemed untreatable. Over time, these developments could significantly extend human lifespan and wellbeing. These changes will not happen overnight. They may take decades to fully mature, but the process begins now. During this period we may also see many institutions economic, political, and even religious undergoing transformation or restructuring.

A Shifting Balance

Some astrologers interpret the heavy Aries influence as signaling the rise of more balanced energies on Earth, including stronger feminine influence within global leadership and culture. Several dwarf planets including Varda, Sedna, and Makemake are also part of the broader astrological landscape right now. Together these alignments suggest a period of profound transition.

New Moon Energies

During this New Moon, several cardinal and mutable signs approach the anaretic degree on the world axis, with Neptune prominently on the world stage. Neptune often brings themes of illusion, secrets, deception, and exposure particularly in areas involving media, substances, power, and hidden influence.

This New Moon is also associated with a star called Scheat, linked in astrology with caution around oceans and maritime matters. On a more positive level, it may also inspire discoveries perhaps even revealing ancient structures or cities beneath the sea.

Dreams, Intuition, and Inner Change

The positive expression of this New Moon highlights dreams, intuition, and psychic sensitivity. Pay attention to your dreams during this period. They may become more vivid or meaningful. Writing them down could lead to valuable insight.

Many people may begin feeling a subtle shift internally becoming more fluid, intuitive, and adaptable.

After March 20, when Mercury goes direct again, it will also be a good time to begin setting new intentions. Clarity will gradually return. However, the months ahead may still feel somewhat rocky. Many planets will be moving through fire and water signs, creating reactive energy in the world. With Pluto now in Aquarius and Uranus continuing its influence, sudden shifts and instability may still occur. So, before reacting to events, take a deep breath. Pause. Meditate if needed.

At the same time, these changes also represent renewal.

The Sabian symbol of the 29th degree speaks of “birthing a new light from within.” Combined with the concept of biophotons light within our cells, it suggests that humanity itself may be evolving toward greater awareness. With Mercury in Pisces and closely connected to the North Node, intuition may guide us more strongly than pure analytical thinking. Meanwhile, Taurus energy highlights future developments in food production, innovation, and technological discovery.

Moving Into a New Age

As we step further into this new era, our quiet intuition may guide us more reliably than the loud voices of those who attempt to control or intimidate. Trust your inner compass.

Two encouraging notes: First, Venus in Aries from March 6 through March 30 brings strong expressions of love and passion. This could appear through romantic connections, friendships, or simply doing something you truly enjoy. Be kind to yourself and treat yourself well.

Second, after March 22, it will again be favorable to light votive candles.

Ritual Guidance

Because Mercury remains retrograde until March 20th I suggest waiting until after that date before lighting candles. In the meantime:

Meditate

Sit quietly for ten minutes.

Hum softly.

Float in a pool.

Use a sauna or steam room.

Do candle gazing without intention-setting.

Do anything that brings you back into your quiet self. You deserve it.

Light all around you! Mano
