New Moon in Virgo - September 11, 2026

Just a reminder: because of the two eclipses that transpired in August, as we go through each and every sign, we will feel their effects even more intensely than usual.

Also, when you hear the word “transit,” it simply means that things will eventually happen, but they’re not happening overnight. It’s more of a process, giving us time to digest what’s happening and how it can better us all.

We’re also dealing with things that are more internal and more within our consciousness.

As we move into the sign of Virgo, which is ruled by Mercury and is an Earth sign, we’ll be dealing with things involving the mind, along with a greater emphasis on our planet. Mixed in with Uranus and Gemini, we’ll also be dealing with employment and how we adjust to AI and new technology. At first, we may not take to all of it very well, but in the end, things should begin to move more smoothly.

We’ll also be looking more closely at health, from what we eat to how we approach our health plans, and considering new ideas as we make important decisions.

Saturn in Aries reminds us that before we go any further with anything, let’s make sure we cross our “t’s” and dot our “i’s,” making sure everything is in its proper order. Then things can move more smoothly and grow beautifully.

Our daily work structure will also be changing because Virgo is all about our day-to-day routines. It would be wise to change things around. Be creative about it.

Purge, cleanse, and purify.

That’s what Virgo is all about.

Do a spring cleaning in your house.

Get rid of old stuff.

You may even want to get rid of an old identity or purge an old way of thinking.

Yeah, like try telling some guy to get rid of all his porn. (Joke!)

But seriously, try getting rid of repetitive or negative thinking, self-deprecating thoughts, or feelings of victimization.

Let go of negative thought patterns.

Try to find a newfound freedom.

This can help raise your vibration, allow you to shine more, and strengthen your energetic field.

It can also help bring greater balance and justice into the world.

Virgo is very much about truth coming into the light and exposing corruption. We may begin seeing spiritual leaders, or leaders in general, falling from grace because of a lack of integrity, truth, and transparency.

People will begin seeing through the corruption.

But we may also experience this in our everyday lives, with people we personally come into contact with. We’ll simply have a greater ability to see it. Remember, Virgo is very much connected with purity.

It’s also connected with the Earth and how much we care for our planet.

There is also a dwarf planet called Orcus, connected with Pluto, which can help expose people who pretend to be something they are not or who are living a phony life. Orcus is indeed a recognized trans-Neptunian object associated in some astrological traditions with oaths and accountability.

At this time in Virgo, another distant object called Chiminigagua can help us shed more light on the darkness around us. Interestingly, Chiminigagua’s name comes from a Muisca creator deity associated with light emerging from primordial darkness.

And as we make this transition, there is no judgment.

This will also be a time of great advances in healing technology and technology in general. I feel some of this may have less to do with AI and more to do with energy, frequency, the galactic universe, and becoming more connected with the heart. Uranus and Virgo will also help move some of this forward as we go along.
